I hate to be someone with a bad review. Our dog is 7 yrs old,& a lab /german shepard mix rescue. We have always used HeartGuard for heartwormsr, never missing a month. She tested postive in Sept. She went thru the 6 mo. treatment at $126 a month & will be retested in April. Our vet changed her preventive to something else at $146 a month now. He said there's new strain now of mosquitoes. Please check with your vet's. It didn't work for us anylonger.
